Can
we use an
iPad or
other
Tablet
with this
software?
Ours
is not a
stand
alone
program,
it is an
enhancement
to
Microsoft
Excel.
Therefore,
you must
already
have Microsoft Excel
installed
on
whatever
device you
plan to
use.
There
are now
many
Tablet
manufactures
(HP,
Samsung,
Acer, Lenovo, etc)
that are
running
Windows on their
Tablets.
These
devices
will also
run Microsoft Excel.
This
article
states:
"Anything
you can
run on a
desktop
will run
on a
Windows 7
tablet"
Microsoft
has released
their own
tablet,
called Surface.
The Surface
tablet is
running the current version of Windows,
and can be
preloaded
with
Microsoft Office, which includes Excel.
Also,
some
computer
manufacturers,
such as
Dell, are
now making
tablets
that
convert to
laptops.
These
machines
basically
serve the
function
of both a
laptop and
a tablet.
So,
if your device is running a fully functional version Microsoft Excel 2007, or
newer, our program should function on your device. However, to be sure, download
and install our Trial

Can
we use a
smartphone
or PDA
with this
software?
Ours
is not a
stand
alone
program,
it is an
enhancement
to
Microsoft
Excel.
Therefore,
you must
already
have Excel
installed
on
whatever
device you
plan to
use.
However,
if your
work
computer
is a PC
that runs
Windows XP
Professional,
Windows
Vista
Business,
Windows 7
Pro, or a
Windows
Server
operating
system,
you can
set it up
to be a
remote
desktop
server;
this will
allow you
to connect
your
smartphone
to it over
Remote
Desktop
Protocol (RDP).
Then, you
can use
your
iPhone/iPad,
Android
device, or
Windows
phone to
access the
Excel
program,
and our
software,
that is on
your PC,
to
remotely
enter
field
data.
If
you are
looking
for a way
that your
field
technicians
can record
the data
to their
smartphones,
so they
can later
upload the
data to a
server for
report
compiling,
this is
not the
software
for
you.
There are
already
other
companies
offering
this
capability.
What
we are
offering
is a more
convenient
and
productive
way for
you to
manage
your
reports in
house,
instead of
outsourcing
this
process.
Allowing

most Excel
versions

built-in
feature
that will
automatically
create a

Can
scanned
documents

inserted

image that
was
inserted onto
that
particular
page.

be on the
forms that
we use?
No,
we will
not place
our brand
anywhere

replace

Can we use
them?
If
you want
to use
those
forms,
they will
have to be
converted
to the
Excel
format.
You will
certainly
have some
things to
"clean-up"
if you are
successful
in doing
an
automatic
conversion...like
formatting
the Excel
cells to
recognize
the data
as
numbers,
text,
dates,
etc.
...setting
up the
auto sum,
and
formulas,
to work
with the
proper
cells, so
you
get the
expected
results.
There may
be a few
other
issues
that will
pop up
when this
conversion
is made
automatically.
If you
